Polly McDaniel

Polly currently serves as the Executive Vice President at DGI Associates, where she leads company operations with a focus on fostering strong client relationships and building effective teams. Her leadership drives company growth and supports DGI’s strategic goals, vision, and mission. DGI is dedicated to assisting information and referral organizations with their data curation and training needs.
In addition, Polly recently completed a NYSPHC Fellowship with The Institute for Human Services’ 211 Helpline program, where she played a key role in helping the 211 Helpline transition to new software, update policies and procedures, train staff, and enhance partnerships. She also worked with 211 New York partners to standardize call and resource data across the state.
Prior to her work at DGI, Polly was Director of Business Development and Marketing at iCarol, where she helped onboard new clients, provided training and advice on best practices for I&R work, and ensured the success of iCarol clients. She also spent nine years with The Institute for Human Services/211 Helpline program, ultimately serving as their Operations Manager. In this role, she oversaw the contact center and resource department, establishing key community partnerships and implementing policies, procedures, and quality assurance measures for the 211 service.
Polly has also been an active contributor to national task groups, providing training at the national, state, and local levels. She served as the Resource Track Manager for the National Inform USA I&R Training & Education Conference for three years, where she led research efforts and co-authored the Inform USA Resource Database Quality Guide, which serves as the foundation for many Inform USA Resource Data standards. Polly is currently co-facilitating the update process for this guide and leading the 211 US Data Structure and Standards Accelerator Group to inform standardized data structure and style guidelines for 211 service directories nationwide.
Polly has held the Inform USA CRS and CRS-DC Certifications since 2009, and Coaching Certification since 2023.
