Dr. Naette Yoko Lee believes that stories are how an organization finds out what it actually does. She is the storyteller at large at United Way Worldwide, where her work covers impact storytelling, brand voice, disaster response content, and the editorial systems that help local teams tell their own stories well. Before joining United Way in 2023, she worked in television news, government communications, and advertising in Trinidad and Tobago, and taught communication at the University of Maryland while completing a PhD in Rhetoric and Political Culture.
