Josh Dickson is currently Senior Vice President for Public Policy and Advocacy at United Way Worldwide. Previously, Josh served in multiple roles in the White House and the U.S. Department of Commerce, and he has worked in full-time positions on three presidential campaigns. In addition to his government and political experience, Josh has held leadership roles with Teach For America and Points of Light, and he began his career as an elementary school teacher on Chicago’s South Side. An AmeriCorps alum, Josh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Dominican University, and a Master’s in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
