Martha Evans-Nau

Martha Evans-Nau, is the Executive Director of the United Way of Hardin County. Martha brings a deep well of experience in education, leadership, and community service. She holds an MBA in Marketing from Miami University, a Master’s in Teaching from the University of Michigan, and two undergraduate degrees from Ohio Northern University.
Before stepping into her current role, Martha spent years shaping young minds as an educator, teaching in Nicholasville, Kentucky, and serving as an adjunct professor at both Ohio Northern University and Bluffton University. Her passion for service extends well beyond the classroom—she is the vice-chair of her county’s Family and Children First Council, the membership director of her local Rotary Club, and has served as a Girl Scout and 4-H leader for all six of her daughters.
A proud and devoted mother, Martha has spent over 30 years supporting her daughters in everything from gymnastics to theater. She now enjoys traveling, cherishes time with her grandsons, and is a devoted listener of Audible audiobooks. Martha lives in Ada, Ohio, with her husband David and two of their daughters.
