With 40 years of experience within our United Way Network, John is responsible for driving key performance metrics at both network and local levels in the NE & SE Regions – all toward helping to build a Network of Thriving United Ways. Immediately prior to UWW, John headed up his own consulting firm, Trusted Path Consulting, working exclusively with non-profits, including local UWs, consulting on structure, strategy, leadership, and development. For 35 years before consulting, John held various leadership positions in local United Ways including as VP & Regional Executive Director at UW of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey, leading their relationships with local communities in the PA & NJ suburbs of Philadelphia and played an integral role in the 2012 merger of seven local UWs that created UWGPSNJ. Prior to that merger, John was CEO of United Way of Atlantic County and had previous leadership roles in local UWs in NJ, PA & WV. John is active in leadership volunteer roles with other local non-profits, including as a Board member of the Coalition for a Safe Community, the NJ211 Partnership, and he serves on advisory councils for Stockton University.
