Jerome Singletary (he/him) is the Director of Government Relations at United Way of Buffalo & Erie County. In this role, he leads the organization’s advocacy and public policy efforts, cultivating relationships across federal, state, and local governments. Jerome also champions both internal and external equity initiatives, working to ensure access to opportunities for all.

With experience spanning the nonprofit, for-profit, and public sectors, Jerome brings a strong background in community-building and coalition leadership. He currently serves on the board of the University at Buffalo School of Management Alumni Association and is a member of the United Way of New York State Public Policy Committee. He previously served as Board Co-Chair for the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network Greater Buffalo Chapter and is a proud AmeriCorps VISTA alum.

Jerome holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the University at Buffalo and a certificate in Social Impact Management and Leadership from the Institute for Nonprofit Practice. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his spouse, Ebony, exploring the outdoors, and cheering on Buffalo’s sports teams.
