Jennifer Palmer

Jennifer (Jen) Palmer brings a wealth of experience in database curation, writing, and teaching to the table. She has been the Database Coordinator for PA 211 Southwest since fall of 2020, and has held the Inform USA (formerly AIRS) Certified Resource Specialist Database Curator credential since October 2021.
Jen serves on the Coordinated Entry Committee of the Western Pennsylvania Continuum of Care’s Board of Directors. She also serves on the 211 Data Structure and Style Accelerator Group and is an active member of multiple Inform USA committees. She is a regular presenter at Inform USA conferences and regional trainings on topics surrounding database curation and indexing with the 211 HSIS.
In her spare time, Jen is a voracious reader and enjoys cooking. She is a member of the 100th Anniversary Planning Committee at the Rankin Hrvatski Dom (Croatian Home) and a frequent volunteer at the Croatian National Hall Javor in Pittsburgh. Jen is passionate about genealogy and is actively pursuing Croatian citizenship, for which she is eligible as the descendant of 19th century emigrants. She lives in Millvale, PA, just outside the City of Pittsburgh.
