211 Thrive is a professional development opportunity for the entire 211 network, including 211 staff at all levels (community resource specialists, database curators, call center managers, and 211 executive leaders), United Way staff, and partners such as local government employees and nonprofit organizations. If you're connected to or interested in 211, this event is for you.

We are pleased to offer a low registration fee of $200 for current staff of 211 providers or coordinating entities, as well as nonprofit or government employees, and approved community partners. The registration fee for for-profit staff and consultants is $500. United Way-affiliated 211 organizations are invited to apply for a travel stipend to attend this year’s conference.

For your convenience, a pre-negotiated room rate is offered at the Westin Kansas City Crown Center. Please book your hotel room once your registration for the event is confirmed to ensure you take advantage of the room block and guaranteed rate.

Conference registration and fees apply to the full agenda with no prorated fees for late arrival or early departure.

Conference capacity and room block availability is limited, so we encourage early registration. On-site registration will only be available if there is known capacity after Monday, October 6. If offered, the on-site registration fee will be $400 per person.

  1. Submit your stipend interest form: We recommend submitting your form early to receive confirmation as soon as possible. We will accept interest form submissions through the end of August or until all stipends have been claimed, whichever comes first.
  2. After you submit your interest form, locate the confirmation email from SmartSheet. This email will confirm that we have received your stipend request.
  3. Once you submit your interest form, you will receive an email confirming your stipend request status. Stipends will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis based in the order of submission. Please note that stipend payments will be issued after the conference based on actual attendance.

For additional questions about the conference stipends, view the FAQ, or submit your inquiry through Ask United Way and select "Conferences and Events" as your topic.

A Community Information Exchange or CIE® is a community-governed infrastructure that enables information to be effectively and responsibly shared among many organizations, using different, interoperable technologies, in support of holistic coordination of care and equitable systems change. Specifically, a CIE enables the sharing of data among multiple kinds of stakeholders – such as providers who need to share data to provide more holistic care, people in need who must navigate complex systems of care, and researchers and decision-makers. As critical infrastructure that supports many stakeholders, using many different technologies, a CIE can enhance understanding of individuals’ and communities’ needs, improving service accessibility, service outcomes, and the health and well-being of a community. The CIE session is scheduled for Thursday morning and does not require an additional fee to attend.
