about the event
The 211 Leadership Summit brings together executive-level 211 leaders, from both United Way and independently operated 211s, for learning, networking, and strategic planning to drive the continued growth and impact of 211. This bi-annual event offers a unique opportunity for 211 leaders to take a break from their demanding roles, collectively serving more than 35,000 individuals daily, to reflect, refresh, and renew alongside peers.
In 2026, United Way Worldwide proudly continues its tradition of hosting a 211 Leadership Summit, featuring rich content centered on network strategy, policy and advocacy, sustainability and resilience, innovation, and delivering measurable impact.

what to expect
The 211 Leadership Summit will:
-
Create a future-forward environment that drives strategic planning, innovation, and actionable commitments to strengthen and advance the 211 network.
-
Cultivate an environment where leaders can explore innovations, strategies, and technologies to enhance the 211 network's reach and effectiveness.
-
Establish a platform where leaders can connect, share experiences, and build meaningful relationships that will support the long-term success of the 211 Network.
-
Inspire a shared sense of purpose and belonging as we continue to strengthen and unify the 211 network, so that participants leave feeling reenergized, valued, and connected as members of the broader 211 network.
Attendees can expect to engage in expert-led deep dives on the most pressing and emerging community challenges to strengthen knowledge, strategic insight, and capacity to move beyond referrals — positioning them as proactive leaders and key contributors to community-wide solutions in areas such as housing, utility assistance, disaster preparedness, and resource management.
We are pleased to offer an early bird attendee registration fee of $300. Register by September 16, 2026 to access this discounted rate.
Employees of United Way-affiliated 211s and state associations may also apply for a $1,000 travel stipend to help offset costs associated with traveling to the Summit. Review the FAQ and apply for a stipend here. Limited to one stipend per United Way.
