Getting to alexandria
The Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is closest to Alexandria, VA, and is only about 10 minutes from the recommended hotel and Summit venue.
Transportation from DCA to the hotel: For those flying into Reagan National Airport (DCA), the Sheraton Old Town Alexandria hotel shuttle runs daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and picks up at the top of each hour. Pickup locations are:
- Terminal 1: lower level
- Terminal 2: Doors 4 and 7

Arriving outside shuttle hours: Rideshare, taxi, and Metro are all convenient alternatives from DCA to Alexandria.
Two other airports, Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) in Maryland and Dulles International Airport (IAD) in Virginia, sometimes offer significantly lower fares. Each of these airports is approximately an hour drive from Alexandria, and requires use of a shuttle service, taxi cab, rental car, or public transportation.
Driving to the hotel: For attendees who are driving, the hotel is located in Old Town Alexandria and is easily accessible from major routes serving the DC region, including I-95/I-495 and the George Washington Parkway. Guests should use the hotel address, 801 North Saint Asaph Street, Alexandria, VA 22314, in their GPS for the most direct route. The hotel also offers on-site parking.
Arriving by Amtrak: Members traveling by Amtrak will typically arrive at Alexandria Union Station / King Street–Old Town, which is about 2 miles from the hotel. From the station, a taxi or rideshare is the easiest option. Guests may also take local transit from King St–Old Town Station to the hotel area.

Meeting attendees staying within the group block at the Sheraton Old Town Alexandria are approximately a 6-minute walk away from the meeting venue. There are also multiple coffee shops, restaurants, and other amenities within walking distance of the hotel and office building.
For those staying extra days: Old Town Alexandria offers a great walkable experience with King Street, the waterfront, shops, and restaurants.
